Looking to add more climbing performance to your Redcat® truck? Then look no further! Our link riser will help keep that front end down when the trail gets steep.
How it works:
The link riser will create more triangulation between the rear upper and lower links. In short, this will increase the anti-squat value, however there are numerous other factors at play.
Increasing the anti-squat value of your crawler will cause the rear suspension to unload, essentially lifting the rear of the truck under acceleration. This is advantageous if you plan to climb steep lines as it keeps the rear end from squatting, which can remove weight off of the front tires, resulting in a rollover.
The other advantage to increased anti-squat is more overall rear traction. Since the chassis is lifting under acceleration, the tires are being planted into the rock resulting in more rear traction than a low anti-squat setup.
