Shorty™ 140mm WB Comp Chassis (Traxxas TRX-4M)

Introducing the Shorty™ comp chassis for the Traxxas TRX-4M. This kit allows you to convert your stock TRX-4M to a full on 140mm wheelbase comp crawler so you can run the popular 1/24th scale comp bodies. 

Chassis rails are made from durable 2mm 6061 Aluminum, and the supporting parts from PA-12 nylon.

Features:

• Adds extra clearance for greater approach and departure angles.
• Much lighter than the stock chassis and body combination.
• More suspension adjustability than stock, with increased suspension articulation.
• Can be set up with either a Droop or Standard style shock setup.
• 5 degree angled skid to help slide over obstacles. 
• Includes our Lay Down steering Kit.
• Provisions for the DSM Rapid Recovery™ kinetic winch strap. (Not included, requires a 1/24 kinetic strap, standard or HD)
• Designed to work with the 1/24 140mm wheel base bodies. Will not work with the stock Traxxas TRX-4M bodies.
• Servo winch capable with our optional servo winch kits.

Required To Complete:

• 4x Front Lower Suspension Links (used for rear links)
• Body (SCX24 Cliffhanger recommended)

Please Note: Will not work with the stock Traxxas TRX-4M bodies. We suggest using the Pro-Line Cliffhanger or similar 1/24 body. You will need to shorten the rear driveshaft or use another front driveshaft in the rear.
